What a remodel with Inspiration Homes costs and how long it takes
Most remodeling projects in Williamson County fall between $18,000 for a guest bathroom and $1 million-plus for a full whole-home renovation. A kitchen typically runs 8 to 14 weeks of construction; an addition runs 5 to 12 months including design and permitting. We publish these ranges up front because the fastest way to waste your time and ours is to design something two to three times your budget.
Everything below is delivered under a single cost-plus contract with one project manager, one schedule and one point of accountability. We handle design, selections, permits, inspections, trades and the punch list — you approve decisions and we build them.

Remodeling questions, answered
How much does a home remodel cost in Williamson County, TN?
Kitchen remodels typically run $45,000–$150,000+, bathrooms $18,000–$85,000+, home additions $120,000–$500,000+, and whole-home renovations $200,000 to over $1 million. Final cost depends on scope, structural work, finish level and the age of the existing home.
How long does a remodel take?
A kitchen remodel takes 8 to 14 weeks of construction, a bathroom 4 to 9 weeks, an addition 5 to 12 months, and a whole-home renovation 8 to 18 months. Add 4 to 10 weeks of design and permitting before construction starts on any project involving structural or mechanical changes.
Can I stay in my home during the remodel?
For a single kitchen or bathroom, most clients stay with a temporary setup. Whole-home renovations and large additions usually require relocating because power, water and HVAC are interrupted. We tell you which category your project falls into at proposal stage, not after demolition.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. Inspiration Homes pulls every permit in our own name and coordinates all county and municipal inspections. That keeps liability with us rather than with you as the homeowner, and it means the work is documented for resale.
Do I need an architect for a remodel?
Not usually. Our in-house design team handles floor plans, elevations and selections for most remodels and additions. Projects with significant structural change also get a licensed structural engineer's stamped drawings, which we arrange.
What is a cost-plus remodeling contract?
You pay the actual cost of labor and materials plus an agreed builder fee, with receipts open to you. Unlike a fixed-price bid padded for unknowns, savings on any line item come back to you, and change orders are priced at cost rather than renegotiated.
